The topic many dread about! Maths! But every child growing up can never avoid this because it will eventually become a part of our life! Mathematics is one of the most important subjects worldwide. However, as a parent myself, I hate this subject alot! I slept through class all the time but when I was little and started learning maths, I only like mathematics when they did additions, subtractions, plus and minus. But anything more extreme than that I am out.

Well, today my kids have to face their own set of educational challenge. Especially now during the pandemic, things seem gloomy in homeschooling but I feel that it is a good change that we all should adapt. I wouldn't mind this as a new norm, it trains both the parents and the children to learn together. Now we know how challenging teaching children can be!

That's why I always find ways to help my kids learn, in the digital era we have to be creative but not rely too much also on technology. And since we're all stock at home, we need entertainment and edutainment too. That's why today I want to share about my latest purchase the Math Ace Boardgames that truly connects the whole family together!

Suitable from age 8 years onwards, my children who are all below 8, also have fun during playtime. My boys age 5 and 7, kept asking to play the boardgame together, they really love it! They may not know the real answer now because it is pretty advance the maths questions but there are answer behind that they can read and learn and try again to get the right answer next time.

In fact, it is fun because when you tabulate the scores, counting is part of mathematics too! My baby girl will just "shoot" for the answer but sometimes by luck she gets it right as well. I find this a really good initiative by Gregory, who is a father himself and I love how he made this into a fun boardgame that beats technology anytime.

I always wanted to get monopoly or twister and those old school boardgames to play with my kids but really, those are old school and sometimes it takes time to teach my kids how to play it. I don't have the kind of patience for that sometimes. But with this, I don't know why but even I get involved with them too. Maybe because it is something we never had as a child and we are also learning at the same time when we play the math ace boardgames, so it makes it more entertaining, fun and educational too.

In fact these aren't just the only ones, there are also other subjects that actually makes things more fun that I might get them too! Especially Science and English.

I also gotten these cute little Time Table Memory Card pocket friendly for my boys because it's handy enough for them to refer during their studies, doesn't take up much space and they can put into their pocket or pencil case.

But like a sociopath, it doesn't do justice to our skin health in the long run. Because I had shingles in 2018, it left a mark in my life that I knew I had to start taking care of my health, taking care of my skin, taking care of my body. Because I still want to be alive, young and healthy until my kids grow up, get married and succeed in life. I don't want to be a burden for them or leave them hanging unto life halfway, that is selfish. If I can choose, I would love to gift them a life that I never had, a much better one for sure.

Although many may say that the best way to wash our face is using our hands because it is gentler than many devices or cloth out there. However, this was before technology and science evolved. And in today's digital era, with such advanced technologies we have in hand, definitely we want to leverage on it to have the best for ourself. Which comes to why I am inspired to write this because, I was once a washing face with hands user. I don't even believe in cleansers for that matter.

Just a quick flashback of when I had shingles in 2018 {You can read here} and I had an unhealthy weight loss of 10kg and also the shingles breakout all over my body, front and back, my face and my scalp as well. The pain was excruciating but bearable, I basically attracted it anyways, I was asking for bedrest but I wasn't specific so I gotten my big bedrest for a month long because of shingles. But many people told me that the shingles scar was hard to go away, I didn't want to accept that at first. But when I saw how bad it was on my body and face, I thought alright, let's start learning makeup and maybe some skin lotion and stuff.

At first, I tried to do explore into the beauty niche and explore skincare from various brands to see which can help me the most. But after trying various brands with various ingredients on my face, I had different reactions and breakouts and caused my skin to be sensitive. And the pores on my face didn't shrink. So finally I knew, enough is enough, I was determined to buy my own beauty product instead and my first and only choice was Lumispa then. I've tried many cookie's in my entire breastfeeding journey, especially the ones that promotes boosting breastmilk. And out of the many I've tried and reviewed before, this one was my favourite, because it was really yummy and chocolatey.

I love how it tastes and I don't taste too much of the other herby ingredients that some cookies has it very strongly. And it's not too dry and coarse like some who is super high in fibres.

It was just the nice blend in combination and the chocolate was really like a melt in your mouth type and it was chunky! If you love chunky chocolates you will love this for sure.

At first I was thinking, like all other cookies maybe this will take time to work too. But I didn't know that even after breastfeeding consistently for 7yrs in a row with several months break in between when I had shingles back in 2018 and now still breastfeeding my baby girl; I would still have the feeling of getting engorged!

And at first I thought maybe I was just excited and happy to try out something new that got me to feel boosted. However, I tried again 2 to 3 pieces of cookie and true enough, in just 24hours I felt somewhat fuller. In fact, it wasn't just me who enjoyed the cookies, my kids as well. My baby girl was the happiest, cookies and milk just for her. Breastfeeding for 7 years in a row and feeding on demand via direct latch helps to keep the flow going and also takes away the concept of, how many ounces you can produce because I believe the breastpump and milk bottle, cannot measure the amount of milk one can produce.

Only your mindset, your emotions/feelings and your baby can measure the amount of milk you have. I was always positive about breastfeeding and never listen in to naysayers or negativity, to the point even the cabbage couldn't stop me from lactating. Since then I knew our mind is a powerful tool! That with support from cookies like this helps. Also, because cabbage didn't work for me, when I was engorged, the only 2 things that has helped me this time around was my Lumispa and Cholestin! Because Cholestin supplement helps to reduce any blockages at the milk ducts and allows smoother flow in our bloodstream because one of the ingredients in it is Lecithin. As for Lumispa, it helps to gently massage and unblock milk ducts that is stuck, works much better and efficient than my knuckles or the back of the comb or warm bottle water.

FAFC Toothbrush For The Whole Family

Staying home will only mean one thing. Staying sane! And staying safe of course! While many are following the news around the pandemic, lest not forget to continue to have healthy good hygiene habits by brushing our teeth daily twice a day and to change your toothbrush atleast every 3 months. It's a common wear & tear basic rule. Plus those brush has been doing all the dirty work for you keeping cavities away from your tooth, you definitely need to replace them after awhile.

Today I wanna share about FAFC Toothbrushes because I've been their secret fan since I spotted them years ago at a baby fair and saw how adorable their Fun Alive Figurine Cartoon toothbrushes would appeal to kids especially! Cos good hygiene always starts from young and starts from home. Over the years, I've gotten them the Robocar Poli collection and my kids just look forward to brushing their teeth every morning and night!

ArtVenture with Sarah Playdough Review

I'm so excited to share with you about this! Seeing as we're all pretty much in at home for awhile now and for god knows how long more. With all the hustle and bustle out there, we definitely wanna keep our babies safe at home! But all those young-one energy that is just ready to burst and explode, because they can't go to school or they can't go to the mall or even to the park anymore! To be honest, I feel sad for my children because they don't know what fun they are gonna miss out on! That's why I have to up my game and bring fun indoors, prevention better than cure!
