Steam & Sanitize Your Total Hygiene Care Solution Malaysia

August 28, 2018 0
I have heard of steaming and sanitizing treatments before and it is not really affordable to own one; Even getting someone to do it for your home, vehicle, office, outlet, centres, schools is not cheap! Not until now! I am grateful to The Butterfly Project Malaysia for this wonderful opportunity of winning the lucky draw on their Facebook post just early this month! The lucky draw consists of a full session from Steam & Sanitize worth up to RM380, where I get to choose what I'd like to steam & sanitize off their menu for my home! I also won a RM100 cash voucher for Steam & Sanitize services that I will be using it too for my vehicle.

See the machine that they use, aren't like those vacuum machines, these are huge imported machines and it's for heavy usage! These are the ones that is loaded with the power to really really kill bacterias and penetrates deeper into mattresses to rid those nasty bed bugs or dust mites lurking inside!

The machine can produce up to 95degree of heated steam which is at 90psi. You need about 47degree to really kill a dust mite! So with the machine and the turbo cover as you can see in the photo, that cover has a system in it that is designed in a way to spread the steam evenly and apply added pressure of the steam coming from the machine, through the hose, to push the steam further, allowing it to penetrate about up to 40mm! Usually bed bugs or dust mites stays near the surface and lay eggs at max 10mm deep.

Best of all, this technology uses NO CHEMICALS! Pure H20, water lah... They did refill water from my tap also. SO it's pure water and it's the high heat that helps kill the bacterias!

Earlier I mentioned about psi, basically I am not mathematics nor science dudette myself haha~ but basically the steam & sanitizing machine releases pressure from the 14th floor to the ground! That length of pressure it is able to produce! Basically can blow you away la.. But with the same turbo cover, as mentioned, besides the way it is designed, it is also engineered to regulate the whole mechanism to suit steaming & sanitizing sessions from a piping hot 95degree at 90psi to about 70degree at 30psi. So rest assured, in simple terms, it is safe for steaming and sanitizing your household furnitures, vehicles and such.

After each steam & sanitizing session, the team will also vacuum up whatever leftovers that is left behind after the kill. It's like the vacuum is harvesting it's kill from the steam & sanitizing session, hahahahaha~!

It is recommended to get a session in 6 months duration because of the different and various bacteria's or bugs we may have brought home unknowingly (because these lil buggers stick to our clothes like parasites!). It's not a daily nor monthly thing, unless your place gets really uncomfortable real fast. For vehicles, be prepared for dead roaches. Which will be my next task to complete! However, vehicles for landed property is relatively easier compared to high-rise buildings, because you need a 3-pin plug point for the machine to operate.

Before the session, I used to have mild flu (me and my kids), every morning! I knew it was the dust issue. I even vacuumed it often but still same. Immediately after the Steam & Sanitize session, my kids were in awe! (Kids are sensitive to changes in environment, kinda like energy in space) We felt the same spacious environment and it was just wonderful, it smells wonderful too! Like fresh clean sheets (we had to change bedsheets also la), but the air was really really cleaner! My master room used to be densed because there's nothing protecting the walls from the outside, so when it's hot, the room gets hot, when i's night time and chilly or rain, the room gets cold. It's like a weather room...

And it has been a week after our session, the room is still fresh and the air crisps clear! My sofa also much cleaner, even the carseat was cleaner too! However, I found out that we're not supposed to steam with high temperature for the carseats as it can damage the structure and the foam inside the carseat. Please read your manual and check for the "heat temperature" guide as reference.

So if you'd like to schedule a session, feel free to contact them and schedule an appointment with them. They can only handle about max 3 appointments per day, so gotta book them fast if you want it quick!

Min spend of RM380 for home services within Klang Valley.
(My King Divan, Mattress, Comforter, Single Divan, Single Mattress, Sofas, Carseats already RM380)
~Anything not on this list please check with Steam & Sanitize~
So this is the menu/price list, and it's really affordable actually! Really good quality too!
Watch it in action!

For more details :
STEAM & SANITIZE

Ps. Even my son (coming to 4 yrs old this Nov) "slumber" only pass his toys to the team to steam & sanitize for him.

Smile with confidence this Chinese New Year with Dentensse!

February 03, 2018 2
Come Chinese New Year festive season, everyone rushes to buy new clothes, food, drinks, snacks and change new money for red packets. Even spring cleaning the house and washing the car. But don't forget to get your tooth a good scaling!

It's best to have this treatment once every half year to a year atleast! Tooth scaling & polishing actually clears up all those stubborn plaques at the edges of your tooth that gives you a yellowish tooth and sometimes bad breathe too!

If not taken care of properly, these can lead to trap bacteria and even cavities!! So today I sent my husband for his tooth scaling which he hasn't had time for it since 2015! Also I am in recovery of 6 ulcers in my mouth so I decided to skip it for now, boohoo....

We went to Klinik Pergigian Dentensse at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara. Apparently this clinic has been around for 10 yrs now! There's a multi-level parking lot behind this row of shoplots by the way. We parked near Pizza Hut and walked over instead hehe. Best to make an appointment before you come because the dentist is really good at what she does!

I get to watch first-hand the dentist scaling my husband's tooth!

Alot of people find the screeching sounds a little nerve-wrecking but it's not really scary though. Just don't think too much and it'll be over soon! I like to think of it as it's the sound of high pressure water squirted in between the tooth that's all.

I've experienced some shaky dentist hands and some making mistakes that end up leaving a cut in the skin somewhere inside. But Dr Ahbi was really professional and as I was video recording, taking photos and moving about. She was not distracted at all and her hands were so stable and gentle throughout the whole scaling & polishing process!

My husband commented after that he felt she really is good at what she does because in the past everytime after a tooth scaling is complete, his tooth were shaky and almost like loosen! But this time it was sturdy in its origin form and clean, most importantly!

Dr Ahbi is new here, she just took over this clinic and she has an experience of 8 years as a dentist (1 year in India). Was previously in Klang but it was too hectic there, too many clients and very little time she could spend with them like 10 to 20 minutes. She didn't like it, it wasn't satisfactory to her if it's a rush job! And I like that she's not pushing into getting you to buy something or add on some other services just for the sake of money. I would say overall she's a kind dentist with a heart for her clients and she does it out of her passion for dentistry!

You can make an appointment to get your tooth scaled or other services are available too. They also have X-ray, Surgery, Braces but these are done by other dentists and only by appointment.

So go get your tooth scaled and polished now before Chinese New Year so you can go house visiting and smile with confidence!

Upon leaving, Dr. Ahbi even gave samples of toothpaste for my husband because he has no cavities but he has weak gums that bleeds easily. And she even explained and gave tips to him how to brush his teeth properly!

If you mention my blog name "www.sebrinahyeo.com" , you also get to enjoy 10% off* your total bill! (*Not applicable with any other running promotions)

Elken Products Personal Review

October 03, 2014 5
I've always been skeptical of direct selling and all those Multi-level marketing companies out there that's been garnering people over the years to join, invest, sell and continue until you start earning income without doing anything because your "downlines" are earning them for u (indirectly).

However, out of all the companies I've heard; Amway, Cosway, Elken, Shaklees and etc. By far, I feel Cosway has become more commercialized even with retail stores and pharmacies at most shopping malls and even at high streets. My mum is a member and we have been using some of their product for awhile especially "Empress" brand for household kitchen wares (eg. Thermo).

Chinese New Yearly~!!

January 18, 2012 1
Ooh-la-la! Chinese New Year ‘round da corner… What does it really means to you?

chinese-zodiac-sign-dragon
I'm also a Earth Dragon.... Some pretty sheer "darn" luck this year I gotta F2F...

2012-01-01 12.57.07
Before - In-progress of cleaning up my room....
2012-01-01 12.56.25
It means cleaning up the house!! And also “AngPau” or “Red Packet” time of the year!! Red & Gold, the mixture of both colour combination brings “ONG”… HUAT ah!!
2012-01-01 21.02.47
After - Manage to clean and clear!
Any plans during this season? I know everyone is busy finishing up and cramming up last minute work to take leave the whole week of Chinese New Year! Basically, we drink (till drunk??), eat (gain weight!!), talk (all-night…), gamble (till “pokai”) & definitely the key to this festive season is to make new friends, re-build & re-connect long lost relationships and to sum it all is to enjoy the reunion among friends & family! And along the way we get some “red packets” and “DOUBLE red packets” especially from those NEWLY WEDS in 2011!!! Ohohohoho! The first “Red packet” from the NEWLY WEDS must be DOUBLE! Don’t ask why, just give! (He-he-he…)
Money
Last year and every other year, my dad will cook on CNY Eve.

CNY Dinner Feb 2011
However, since I’m jobless and a temporary house-maiden, I’m cooking this year!
I even baked Soft Chocolate Cookies!
2012-01-13 15.49.252012-01-13 18.05.27
Okay… To be honest, this was my 2nd attempt at baking and my 1st attempt at preparing the ingredients from scratch! The first time was ready-mix off the shelves which doesn’t taste good at all! But make it from scratch and mm-mmm YUMMY! I had a recipe taken off OTA but I kinda edited it on my own while mixing which is risky but it was worth it!
2012-01-13 18.05.52
Now I have the cookies, and some pineapple tarts from my bro-in-law’s family. Plus all the other important delicacies for CNY celebration, me & my parents went for grocery shopping today to avoid the people traffic but there’s still people traffic alright, afterall this is the LAST WEEK to SHOP for groceries for CNY Eve! It’s 5 days away!
Malaysian mentality is LAST-MINUTE!! Plus the all-time famous, 30-minutes late concept… It’s N-O-R-M-A-L for us… Tee-hee… But not for me… I lose my mood when I get invited out last minute… I rather have it planned beforehand, much more organized and definitely the best way to make sure I don’t waste time… Unless it’s super ad-hoc then it can be excused to let me in last minute… If not forget it! SO you wanna go shopping over the weekend? My advise is… DO NOT GO OUT THIS WEEKEND! You will cry over the traffic jam caused by people & vehicles!! People heading outstation and hometown… People buying laaaassttt minute groceries… I won’t be surprise if some hypermarkets or malls actually offer a special CNY sales over the weekend just to triple-hype up the people shopping last minute…

Well, don’t wanna run off-track my main topic here… Hehe… I’m “cooking” steamboat this CNY Eve for my family reunion dinner!! I’m even going to cook our “Hokkien” traditional CNY must-have dish for the FIRST TIME! “Bang guan” with onions and something something wrapped in fresh lettuce and “chomp-chomp-chomp-swallow-gulp”… (Not my fav… but it’s tradition)
02022011185
