Because I'm sure many of you can relate to your kids needing a smartphone right in their face to make them sit still and not move but that will cause nothing but harm unfortunately. And it is not "to each their own" kind of remark I should be making because that will be selfish of me. I have seen many kids amongst my circle of friends and extended family members, some even toddlers between 3 years to 5 years who are suffering from blur vision, cataract and some had to wear glasses before they start school! If that isn't the worst, majority were actually labelled as anti-social, a victim to bullying or a bully themselves and had difficulties communicating with people and making friends. Some even behave badly! So NO, this is not a normal thing and it is never "to each their own". It should be corrected there and then before it's too late.
It sounds better to say "do something now, better late than never".
Looking at this result from Audra website really worries me. However, I am thankful me and my husband were both from the mobile industry for many years, hence, we're always on our smartphones but we know the damage it can do. Therefore my kids has never and will never get any smartphones or tablets until they are old enough to buy on their own. Even TV time I am now limiting them to an hour a day and this Audra for home came on time! (My HyppTV & Minix relies on the internet to see TV, so no internet = no TV = more productivity through play)
