Zipping into More Chocolate and Better Wafer with Cadbury

Cadbury Malaysia, under the global food company Mondelēz International, has launched its all-new Cadbury Zip. This delightful snack comes with an improved, mouth-watering new recipe as part of the brand’s strategy to refine their line of products. With Malaysians staying at home for most parts of the day due to current circumstances, these sticks of goodness can be enjoyed by everyone in the family, used in dessert recipes or even served as the perfect tea time snack to have with friends over Zoom to Zip through dull moments.

So what’s different with this new Cadbury Zip as compared to its predecessor? The original chocolate base is now replaced with Malaysia’s favourite smooth & creamy Cadbury Dairy Milk. It is also enhanced with 20% more chocolate than before as the new recipe ensures every bite is packed with chocolatey goodness. Not stopping there, Cadbury also developed a recipe to ensure the wafer is consistently crispy to guarantee a satisfying crunch that perfectly complements the chocolate in every bite.

The all-new Cadbury Zip comes in refreshed pack sizes with a striking red ‘Z’ splashed across the iconic purple packaging.

Growing up in my Chinese culture, Pineapple tarts is like a must for every Chinese New Year! It is the ultimate treat to have and the best to savour wherever you go for visiting! However nowadays there's too many out there, no one knows for sure which is the best?

I brought my son to visit Swee Bee by Baker Dave, to try their Pineapple tarts as they are homemade and a recipe made by Baker Dave's mother.

A cosy hidden cafe in Plaza Damas 3, that truly brings out a vibe of home sweet home with good comfort food and beverages.

Me and my son took many photos here because it just felt like a loving environment to be at. And their food variety are aplenty! Very generous in portion and all freshly made to order.

And because Chinese New Year is around the corner, they are already selling out on their Pineapple Tarts from their loyal customers over the years. We also had the privilege to try some taster and it was delish!

Sweet and sour pineapple tarts that has a mild buttery texture that makes the entire pineapple tart experience worth with every bite!

With the evolving trend of today's era; Technology is something that is an emerging market where it is undeniably huge with potential! That being said, everything has its pros and cons and being exposed to technology and gadgets, we are also equally exposed to the blue light emitting from our computer screen or smartphone or tablets.

I am also not excused from this exposure. Because in my line of field I am almost 24/7 exposed to such free radicals that will eventually indirectly and directly impact my health in the long run.

My kids however are pretty safe for now as I don't allow them exposure to any gadgets whatsoever and even if they do it is on super rare occasions and short duration. Because I know very well the impact it has especially on the eye sight.

FROZEN, Uniquely Flavoured Artisan Ice Cream Malaysia

You can never have enough of ice cream in Malaysia all year-long! With our hot and humid weather, it's the perfect treat anytime, anyday!

Frozen by Ken started in Bangsar as one of the up and coming artisan ice cream parlour in town. And they have just opened a new branch pop up ice cream stall at Paradigm Shopping Mall.

At their Grand Launch in Paradigm Shopping Mall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor; We were treated to some yummilicious frozen treats that are each uniquely made and brings out the child in us!

My son was the happiest as he managed to get his Strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

They have a variety of unique flavours you can opt. for such as their rich and flavorful Musing King;

The authentic and surreal Kuih Talam that tastes like Pandan Jelly Layer cake, very fragrant and appetising!

Their Dragonfruit & Lychee Sorbet was refreshing and has a mild tasted sweetness that originates from the fruits itself.

I love the Papaya, Strawberry and instead! It was fruity and addictive!

Even my kids love it! As long as there's strawberry in it, nothing can go wrong!

The pricing is affordable for a uniquely flavoured artisan ice cream that is made from scratch. They even have promotions running such as :

I came back again with my family for a family day trip at the mall and some last minute CNY shopping.

They even have free drinking water available if you need to quench your sweet tooth after indulging in these yummy treats.

Lovely place to just chill with family and friends while enjoying your ice cream in a cup.

I wish they will have cones or waffles someday at this Australian-style inspired dessert joint with a burst of local flavours!

KITKAT as a brand has existed for over the past 83 years and it all began in 1935, where KITKAT becomes a family of Nestle since 1988 (my birth year!).

Today, it is Malaysia's leading chocolate brand and love by many through many generations over the decades; It's also exported globally across 14 countries and the first global confectionary brand to be made from 100% sustainable cocoa source through the Nestle Cocoa Plan.

As I was taken down memory lane on the true beginnings of KITKAT and how it began to how it derived to its glorious taste and wonders today, it was definitely an educational moment for me to get to know KITKAT personally behind-the-scenes.

With proper training and best practices, you will know it when you have yourself a KITKAT, you can truly taste your love of chocolate through every bite you take! I believe it's because of the passion and the love that begins from its seed right until it is harvested by the farmers with care. Today they have launched the Ruby chocolate that is the latest discovery and it is now available in KITKAT Chocolatory stores in Malaysia. It has a sweet and slightly sour tinge of taste in it's pretty-in-pink melt in your mouth chocolatory sensation that you will not miss. It is the first new chocolate in its original form that is created ever since dark, milk and white chocolate was created 80 years ago. Ruby chocolate has no added flavouring, colouring additives or genetic modification, it was made by Swiss chocolate and cocoa processor Barry Callebaut from specially-selected Ruby cocoa beans that is only found in major cocoa-growing regions that even includes places such as Ivory Coast, Ecuador and Brazil.

The one-of-a-kind chocolate actually makes me really curious how KITKAT is going to market it to the public and I was delighted to know that they have the KITKAT Ruby chocolate in their most famous four-finger wafer bar!
