BeautyExpo 2018 is also supported by the Oriental Beauty Group, Ginn International (HK), the Beauty Brands Certification Platform from Korea, Star Brand Awards Int'l and the biz-linking product info management app, catTHIS, by the national accelerator of Enterprise Singapore.

It was an honour for me to be able to partake in the BeautyExpo 2018 first ever Influencer experience tour, under the collaboration with MadMavericks, the Official Media Partner, last Saturday. I was able to witness a true display of a wide variety of booths from established backgrounds from different countries, catering to different business offerings across Southeast Asia and some even around the world! The event focuses on innovative beauty products, latest advancement in technologies and comprehensive program line-ups. This expo brings about a true nature of networking, building relationships, business partners, collaborations and opportunities in terms of quality and quantity. It was an insightful and knowledgeable sharing and exchange of ideas on current beauty trends that I learned.

They have over 5 country pavilions with over 380 exhibiting brands from 30 countries! BeautyExpo mainly focuses on B2B (Business-to-business) trade exhibition for beauty & therapeutic professionals in the industry. Powered by Cosmoprof Asia, the largest professional beauty exhibition in the Asia region, and organized by UBM Asia, BeautyExpo is the pioneer and longest running beauty trade show in Southeast Asia.

Some of the booths I was amazed at with their technology are :

RUBY-CELL by Aphrozone (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, is an All-In-One total solution of revolutionary skincare products from Korea, offering their customers and clients a total solution preparation to help your skin to recapture its strength and youth. I tried their sample which was the Ruby-Cell Home Care System that is like a nano-mist essence spray. It is a mixture of Ampoule and mist to their latest device that spritz out nano mist on our skin; which truly gets absorbs in almost immediately, leaving no watery nor sticky residue behind after 2 minutes of the mist spraying solution. It helps to lift, firm, tone, reduce wrinkles and brighten skin as well.

WEILAN MYS showcased their FUNSACE makeup brand with it's packaging is of a Unicorn fantasy collection that most beauty lovers will appreciate. I didn't get the chance to try the products though it has a beautiful display, nice for photo-taking nonetheless.

SKINPHY simplifies the philosophy of skincare in their various skin products especially their masks and also mist sprays, lotions and sunblock balm to suit different lifestyles. They even carry a range of combs for hair beauty that can be also therapeutic for our scalp.

GILDA COSMETICS by Vibrante Essentials Sdn Bhd, was founded by Gilda Liljeblad in 1988 in Sweden (that's the same age as me!). Their focus in their skincare range is on the active ingredients and end results, which are suitable for acne, wrinkles, large pores and hyper-pigmentation.


KDM (Korea Divine Medical) provides affordable and convenient manufacturer special appliances for the home.One of their product, the Lady Rhea Aqua Clean provides two skincare functions, the Aqua & Clean which covers from cleaning, exfoliation, peeling, nutrition, whitening and moisturization.

B&B Labs supplies and distributes quality retail skincare to beauty salons. It's a Malaysian company with technology from Switzerland that caters more than 50 Asian ingredients in their targeted range for pre-mature aging & problem skin. It's packaging and overall outlook looks really professional and trustable. It gives you the feeling of their point-to-detail and professionalism in their branding. If I didn't enquire for more, I would've thought it was a European company from Switzerland or Sweden with all the scientific research done etc. But this only proves that they take their branding seriously to potray such confidence in it's range of products. I can't wait to test their product!

J.Kao by JKao Group, wants to present a different lifestyle for women with an elegant attitude. Your life lies in your own domination. That's how inpiring this brand potrays itself. Their first product launch carries the Jkao Ultra Performance Instant Reviving Mask Efficiency! Imagine with just a simple 5 minutes mask on your skin, it'll enable you to achieve a long lasting moisturizing effect!
