Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Hope you are enjoying your 5th day of Chinese New Year with lots of firecrackers as we celebrate the God of Wealth's birthday!
As per tradition, this year we thoroughly cleaned our house to sweep away any ill-fortune and make way for incoming good luck. We also decorated the windows and doors with red paper-cuts and couplets to bring in good fortune, happiness, wealth, and longevity.
This year, I discovered more modern ways to decorate from Chinese New Year – it’s a missed opportunity but I’m hoping to incorporate for next year. I never thought of looking into these details when decorating before. Little I know, even switch covers can be designed. Perhaps designed in everyone’s favorite red hues that bring even more ONG!
