Coffee Me Darling @ SS2, PJ

"Coffee Me Darling", one name that resonates close to the hearts of all coffee lover darlings out there! (And I know a few of them lolx).

Coffee, Tea or ME, Darling? better known as "Coffee Me Darling" welcoming entrance design with a twist of urban mix interior deco. Bright unique light bulbs hanging from the ceiling shining the whole café.

Personally, I love how the cafe is decorated in a way that it emits a really cosy feeling when I first step in. "Coffee Me Darling" has one of the most unique menu ever! With most of the item exclusively to them, it is also the simplest reason for all the darlings to keep coming back. Imagine wonderful warm menu, beautiful delicious coffee and relaxing cozy environment, I am sure everyone just cannot wait to be a darling too.

Our first taste of flavour here is definitely the drinks; There's the hot "Cafe Latte", the coffee aroma was just nice (an in-between mix of medium to dark roast coffee scent) and the beautiful "Swan" latte art. The "Wensberry Bliss" looks really pretty!! I bet it tastes yummy too! Look at all those strawberry slices just relaxing in the glass cup hehe... I ordered the "Strawberry Lemon Slush", it has a nice blend of strawberry sweetness and lemon sourness, matches really well together (sweet & sour), however, it's not too sweet & not too sour, just perfect.

At "Coffee Me Darling", their Signature coffee that you can only find it here is the "Taufufa Coffee".

Owner of "Coffee Me Darling", Alex has improvised the coffee bean used here; Comparing to the unique taste from the previous bean since the beginning; The darlings now prefer the slightly nutty blend in "Coffee Me Darling".

Here's another specialty coffee in "Coffee Me Darling"; The "Cappucino (Doughnut Dome)", another work of art! How to drink this? Simple, take a bite of the milky froth, it's like sinking your lips into smooth creamy donuts!

We were served with Coffee Me Darling's yummy soup! To be honest, I love it! Especially when you drink it hot/warm it's really yummy and creamy, not too milky nor too thick. Just right for me. The cauliflower and wild mushroom aroma smells as good as it tastes!

Next up, the "Lotus Root Chips with Watch Curry". A different twist to the Lotus Root Chips that emerges during CNY as a snack variety. This lotus root chips however, was not thinly sliced, it is quite thick but if you eat it while it's still warm, it's really crunchy instead of crispy and you just have to dip it into the sauce (which looks like mustard but tastes like watch curry) to get a unique flavour of this combination. A Must-Try while you're here!

"Minestrone Soup with Penne", this is an in-between appetizer + main course like a 2-in-1 combo. It's also another dish introduced here especially for customers on-the-go where they would want to grab something quick, so a soupy dish pasta to save the day! However, I thought it was veggie bolognese lolx!! Taste-wise it was ok, if you wanna grab a quick bite and go then yes, this dish is best. However, if you're eating in, best to finish this before the soup turns cold. But all-in-all the combination of the ingredients were nicely done, except maybe needs more soup?
Worth to try and great for office people nearby or businessmen!

"Streaky Bacon/Turkey Ham Carbonara", you can choose! This right here is the "Turkey Ham Carbonara" it's really yummy! Creamy smooth texture, has a lil cheesy cream flavour but not too much. It was just right for me. Generous portion enough to share with 2 (unless u're a big eater and LOVE cream). I give this dish TWO Thumbs Up! (Because it's difficult to find a good carbonara combination out there)

The other main meals on the menu. Must not miss as well!

"Tengku Tan Benedict", the name is funny~ lolx! Love the eggs with runny yolks inside, yumz!

"Egg In A Basket", the egg is cooked inside the baquette bread and tastes yummy, eat it while it's warm. I hoped for the eggs to be runny too but it was fully cooked when I tried it.

"Big Breakfast", needless to say, seems ordinary but is always the best brunch meal on the menu of every cafe! Oh, did I mention that they use butter croissant and it was crispy! I don't mind having second rounds of this dish and making myself a croissant sandwich along the way hehe~! You can even select your preferred choice of egg (scrambled / poached / sunny side up) & meat (Vienna sausage / turkey ham / beef bacon / smoke salmon).

"The Ikan Percik with Lemongrass Pilaf Rice" is a MUST-HAVE, MUST-TRY dish!! Ikan percik grilled to its tender touch & fresh; Combine with the lemongrass pilaf rice and the special sauce it was lovely!!! The sweetness of this dish blended really well together, MUST get more sauce! Yummy!!

"Grilled Chicken with Oregano Mushroom Sauce" is another dish that may seem common but I highly recommend this too. The chicken is grilled to its tender touch and trust me, the outside is crispy and flavorful; the inside is juicy and smooth! While cutting this piece of meat, the juice that ooze out from the chicken was to die for! (Yes, that "kua-cheong!" Lolx)

"Smores Dip", a sweet dessert to satisfy your meal. Not too sweet but just perfect! The key is to dip the biscuits and scoop up a piece of marshmallow with melted chocolate, add some fruits on the biscuit if u'd like and top it with cream! Yummy!

After the satisfying meal, we were introduced to the key people behind "Coffee Me Darling"!

The barista, gave us a close-up preview of the winning "Swan" Latte Art design!

And unlike any other ordinary cafe; the comfort level of the seating area is splendid! (Me & my family sat at the sofa la, syok!)

Me with Owner of "Coffee Me Darling", Alex and my hubby with my lil alligator (yes, he bites~hard!).

Owner, Alex treats every single of his guests as his darlings. You can totally feel it from the moment you step into the cafe, tastes the coffee and savour the food.

As early as 8am in the morning, you are very much welcome to enjoy your breakfast and coffee here preparing for the day to come. As late as 12 midnight, you can still have your last supper before the day ends.
