As a new mother of 3 kids where my baby girl just turned 2 months old. I never thought I would have to go back to zero and re-learn again about motherhood. Every child development is different and every parenting method differs by individual child too!

Compared to my first 2 kids, this time around with my baby girl, I had to pump milk out to store for baby's feeding whenever I am not around because I have my business and business partners to lead so I sometimes have to go out and leave baby at home with my parents.

And being an exclusive Breastfeeding mom for the past 5 yrs, I didn't want to stop lactating and would love all my kids to continue enjoying the benefits of breastmilk until they are atleast 2 years and above. My eldest son breastfed until he was 4, my 2nd son until 3 and I would like my baby girl to also breastfeed until she is atleast 3 or 4 years old.

With that, I had to look out for a good breast pump and being at the launch for JOYLEE Ipump breast pump, it was a really cool new gadget that moms like me would surely appreciate.

What I love about the Ipump is the design, it looks really compact and sleek. Something I wouldn't mind carrying along with me on-the-go. And being this compact, one would think that it may not have much features but then again, this beauty actually has a control button that controls the suction accordingly.

There are 27 types of suction from low to maximum. And each pumping session are actually recorded and displayed on the display screen to keep the mom updated. It also has a dual function and it also massages at the same time. Another feature it has is the stop and resume button feature to make it easier to do more work at a time for any entrepreneur multitasking mummy.

It is a packed with a long-term battery with longer battery lifespan making things more convenient for a travelling mom. And the way it is designed, it is also suitable for carrying it out because it is so compact and handy.

I like how it have 9 levels of suction and massage that is a combination of up to 107 types of stimulation and sucking at each level.

It's not too noisy and apart from the space-saving modern design, it is truly easier to breastfeed on one side and pump on the other simultaneously. And it can also pump on both sides very well too.

Another thing I must mention, is that there are lesser accessories involved in the washing. This gives me more time to rest and bond with baby!

My kids has been bugging me for a certain collection for awhile now and out of all the brand's, SkipHop is still my no.1 brand that I will pick anytime over the others.

For its convenience and super adorable design that is practical and versatile. I just had to get the whole set. Sometimes I wonder, is it the kid that is excited of the parent itself?

Cos I was equally excited opening the box when we received it. And my kids had a fun time modelling out the bags.

I can't wait to bring them to picnic soon, seeing as my son loves going outdoors. The bag is really convenient and handy enough for my kids to carry themselves.

Each bag type has its own purpose and usage. It makes me feel pretty organized and also encourages my son's to organise accordingly too.

The bright colour really stands out and the quality is pretty obvious. For the price point it is actually really affordable for a whole set of collection like this.

And I love how it comes in a set fully equipped with the right set of accessories for school and picnic.

PETPET New Improved Diaper Review

PETPET new improved diapers with its new improved design, features a non-woven fabric and absorbent material that is very soft to touch.

I managed to buy a pack to let my 2nd boy test out its quality because I want to know how far it is on par with today's trend in diaper technology on the 'Fast Dry' technology that includes a 360' AirThru system. This gives me the impression that it really focuses on keeping baby's skin comfortable and dry while gentle on their skin at the same time.

I would say that it can definitely last for up to 10-hours a day! Most diapers lasts a mere 4 to 6 hours and some lesser, however, its subject to age and situation too. My boy is already 2 plus this year, turning 3 years old in September, and his diapers get soiled pretty quick because of the amount of water he drinks in a day. Also it is now the hot season, hence he drinks even more fluid during the day.

But I noticed that even when it gets full, it doesn't leak or drops easily. In fact, he still looks comfortable in it and my mom even thought it was a new diaper because it was dry on the inside but already quite bulky. Their Newborn (NB) and S size doesn't have this 10-hours technology but it is still gentle to touch. This is also reasonable, because baby's and infant's at this young age tend to poo more frequent; Hence, it is best to get them changed frequently. So I may even consider this for my 2nd child that is on the way soon this end July 2019.

The fabric material is really strong as it doesn't break apart easily when it is soiled and it stays dry inside at the same time. This proves that it is really gentle on baby's skin. The design of their diapers are quite cute too! Different sizes has different animal characters that represents their cute mascots - Bunny, Bear, Elephant and Hippo.

And like most diapers, the waist guide is very crucial for us parents to know what size fits best for our kids. The indication of 1-2-3 on the waist guide means :

1 - Perfect Fit

2 - Good Fit

3 - Need to change size already

Am glad that I picked the right size for my son this time and it was the "1 - Perfect Fit" for him. My boy couldn't resist doing a few poses for me as I was snapping photos of him in the PETPET new improved designed diapers. I'd probably put this on for him during night time since that the diapers can last pretty long (up to 10 hours) and he sleeps through the night. My son also has a "bum made of gold" because his skin is delicate and sensitive, hence I had to rule out many brands before this and only have 2 brands that he could tolerate without having rashes or flare-ups on his skin. Thankfully now I have 1 more brand to add to my shopping list for my boy!

Was at Mydin USJ Mall today and so happen it was the laucnh of the PETPET new improved diapers. Since I am currently expecting at 5 months, I decided to find out more about this new design they have.

They were having an offer at Mydin USJ Mall in Subang Jaya and the price is definitely affordable! I still remember my mom telling me that this brand has been around for a very very long time.

What I like about this new improved design is that it features a non-woven fabric and absorbent material that is very soft to touch. It's also on par with toady's trend in diaper technology on the 'Fast Dry' technology that also includes a 360' AirThru system. This gives me the impression that it really focuses on keeping baby's skin comfortable and dry while gentle on their skin at the same time.

What do you know about Batik?

Ever thought about it before?

If you're like me, am sure you may have the same common understanding that Batik is a unique design by Asians, especially amongst the Malay community with their traditional Batik design and attires.

In fact, you're probably thinking, batik is a sarung or baju kurung or a cloth with nice pattern print design. But what if I tell you that, this post may change the way you see, think, imagine and feel about batik more than you can even imagine it's purpose for!

At The Batik Boutique, the story to how it began to it's solid footing here in Malaysia today, truly marks a gift that the founders and its creators really inspires and empowers more people with their humble beginnings.

Amy Blair, met her friend Ana, a single mother in 2009 and through her friend she actually met a few women who were living in PPR flats in a very poor and rundown condition with their family. It saddened her to see that they didn't have the opportunity that she had when she was growing up in the states. And settling here in Malaysia building her family here, after meeting these ladies, she were inspired to find ways to help these ladies and her friend Ana to have a better chance in Malaysia.

Ever since then, from a few ladies who had zero knowledge in sewing or batik, learned baby steps and finally, from sewing from home, to studios, into retail outlets and now into exporting across borders such as UK, US, Australia, Japan and abroad; The Batik Boutique truly made its humble mark in proving that you can do anything if you just don't give up!

The women who are involved can now earn a sustainable income to support their family unlike before, they can finally stand on their own two feet and be independent. You see, the Batik Boutique was created with the mission to teach women how to sew and to work with artisans in Malaysia.

They have just recently launched their 'Holiday Collection' a couple of weeks ago and the result was overwhelming as it was almost sold out.

I really love their display of the 'Holiday Collection', it's truly befitting for the upcoming festive season Christmas. What's even better, celebrating Christmas in Malaysia with the true art of the beautiful and unique Batik design.

If you noticed the pillow design that I am cuddling with, was actually inspired through the founder Amy, rummaging through some of the batik blocks from one of the artisan and she saw a tenung design weaved on the batik. That's how this pillow design was born for this 'Holiday Collection'.

They also have 2 types of clutches, one in greyish white and another in vibrant colors; the colorful one is almost sold out as well by the way.

Everything that the Batik Boutique has to offer are all 100% handmade, including the tassels on some of the products.

It's really amazing to see women who started from scratch, they had nothing, everything from zero ground up, zero skills and no knowledge of sewing, even one of them couldn't read or write but they all needed one thing in their life, and that is money for their family. Through learning this skill set, they now make a decent living and continues to create these marvelous collection for the world.

I really love how the Batik Boutique does not just focus on selling batik cloths etc, but they offer you a wide array of variety in batik design, such as having modernise fashion but in batik styles.
