Located in the hearts of Bandar Sunway, the carnival aims to bring Malaysians from all walks of life to spend the National Day together as one community.

The carnival was officially launched today together with Sunway EXCO Member, Puan Sri Datin Seri (Dr) Susan Cheah.

"A community that plays together, stays together and we hope that the #JomMalaysia Carnival will deliver a sense of history, encourage the fostering of new friendships and strengthen family bonds to make us an even stronger nation!" said Sunway Group Brand Marketing and Communications Senior General Manager, Jane Poh.

The kick-off event began with performances of the festive drum performances by students of Sunway University, followed by the trishaw ride flag-off and a tour of journey through the five experiential spaces :
-Flavours of Malaysia (Food)
-Voices of Malaysia (Music)
-Cultures of Malaysia (Dance)
-Arts of Malaysia (Arts & Crafts Made In Malaysia)
-Games of Malaysia (Games)

Lots of food trucks at the side and also Food stalls at the Food Street that truly brings all the best local varieties that only Malaysia can present to you with the TASTIEST FOOD you can find! Trust me, many who have tried Malaysian Food, will surely miss it and will wanna come back to Malaysia for more!! Our variety of food and it's flavours makes us unique!

Music performances and Cultures of Malaysia will be presented here at the stage area with live performances by Sunway University, Taylors University, INTI International College, ASWARA Malaysia and even Malaysian Buskers Club. You will definitely be entertained the whole day!

Those were the good ol' days where we enjoy a good game of Congkak, Eraser battle, Sepak Bulu Ayam, Batu Seremban (my fav!), Lompat Getah (my 2nd fav! Because I'm short, but I can jump okay~) and many more!

And today, I made a difference in the earth by Making a change to support A Greener Malaysia over here! For every pledge received, a TREE will be planted in Sunway Iskandar, Johor. They target to have up to 6,000 trees in the township! So I have done my part to pledge a TREE to be planted on my behalf, what about you?! It's FREE TO PLEDGE!
Just follow the simple steps given only (shown in image below)

Lets not forget our roots and how Malaysia got to this day! Take a walk through the Evolution Tunnel and revisit the past in this extraordinary tunnel, where you get to watch history unfold itself to where it is now today.
