MURAD Power Pairs Serum with Sunblock

Have you guys heard of MURAD? If not let me give a quick intro, in 1989, Dr Howard Murad a dermatologist and pharmacist founded Murad, Inc. the first modern doctor brand of clinical skincare products. Hence for over 30yrs they have been developing the next-generation dark spots solution based on a patented technology to minimize the look of dark spots you see.

Which brings me to the product I wanted to share with you today. The Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum for pigmentation and dark spot correcting. Especially for women above 25, your skin is rapidly aging from age 20 onwards so its important to have a good skin care routine in hand.

So I tried going to a random korean saloon lately for their free trial treatment and it was some kind of machine used to lighten my blemishes and pigments on my face however to go back again is a hassle and a hefty sum for me, plus in just a week whatever effect that machine did faded and my skin went back to normal, it was experimental for my anyways because I already had my natural solution that works. And that's when I came across this brand and just thought lets see how this brand compares to the one I am using. And I will say it is pretty okay especially for the price of it.

Apart from this Serum, it is best to pair with a sunblock and I tested this together with the City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF50 PA++++ as it is a matte type of solution that leaves the skin with no shiny surface and protects from UV light.

Was recently been introduced to the Murad Age Reform range and gotten a sample from the outlet to try it for myself. I just thought of sharing how this handy beauty gel from Murad Malaysia works and how it felt on my skin incase you're considering to purchase to full set.

Sometimes when we go out to meet people or even when going for company dinner and events or friends gathering and parties; We always tend to want to look our best! So we grab whatever promotion or offers out there that is affordable or on sale and then just apply them on our face. But how many of us really know the products and how it can truly benefit us? How many of you out there really look into the products and where it is derived from before purchasing it for your own use. Most times I noticed, if the price is affordable, just grab it.

Well, it's actually good to know what works well for your skin because not everything is suitable for everyone. So today, let me just share my thoughts after using this Murad Age Reform : Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum with SPF 30++ and what it does for our skin.

Firstly, the actual bottle is definitely bigger sized than this. This is a sample only from the outlet. Because I am very careful with what I put on my skin, I make sure that the product is worth it.

It's texture is similar to putting on a primer gel, as it has a smooth gel-like texture that as you rub it in your skin, it absorbs well and leaves an after-lingering floral fragrance. And due to its texture, it makes a really good soft-focus complex primer that primes for up to 12 hours of flawless makeup. It helps to blur, primes and protects the skin with its non-comedogenic, colorless hybrid primer that flatters any skin tone.

As it name suggests, Age Reform, it helps to also visibly reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines and uneven textures. Even if you leave it on for up to 12 hours, it helps to protect your skin under your makeup. Am sure if you apply makeup, the biggest concern for every women is the breakouts after putting on makeup for longer hours because of the block pores due to the makeup we use (and even some ingredients that we may not be aware of that triggers to breakouts).

Murad Soothing & Hydrating Facial Treatment | Da:Men USJ

Beauty care nowadays there's aplenty to go for but how do you know if its right for you? Especially if you're super lazy and love someone else to do it for you, the best place to go to is a facial salon to get your facial treatment and pamper your skin.

Today I got myself a facial treatment at one of Dr. Murad's beauty facial salon in Da:Men mall in USJ, Subang Jaya.

It was not easy to get a reservation as it is fully booked, however, I manage to get a slot just in time before Christmas.

I wanted to try the Vitamin-C facial treatment, but after doing a quick skin test, I actually require a soothing and hydration treatment for my skin instead. This was also because the beauty consultant, Elly, was really good at explaining to me about my skin condition and which treatment that will be best suited and recommended for my skin type.

To be honest, I was really happy with my skin result and I know it's going to get way better because I did a test in August and I remembered the facial salon then, told me I had lots of wrinkle and fine lines all over my face, my pores on my nose was alarming and I had alot of oils stuck in my pores which causes frequent breakouts and scars. The only product I bought after that was one specific product that I am using once in awhile to remove makeup or to just cleanse my face when I'm not too lazy which I'll share later.

So this was my skin result test at Murad, and I left with only very few fine lines but if compared to August back then, it was a huge 90% improvement! I told Elly, that my skin used to be worst than this! It was also because I recovered from Shingles earlier this year. So I knew my skin health is deteriorating and I had to do something about it!

Pores, much much smaller especially at my nose area, there was lots of big huge pores at my nose area and near the nose too back in August 2018, but now it has improved so so much!

Even the pores were not alarming anymore, there were still some pores but it was not as huge as it was before!

My skin was still dry at some parts and oily at some parts, I admit I skip alot on masking my face frequently as I should (as advised before this).

The inflammation area, sensitive area is not so prominent anymore! Means great improvement for me and in fact, nothing major to highlight because it's not too serious. My skin health definitely improved!

It was about an hour or so for the facial treatment and it was quite pleasant too! Although, it was kind of painful at some parts especially when Elly attempted to remove the head from my acne. But I like it because it did not swell or scar badly after the treatment, in fact my face felt smooth afterwards.

I must also note that during the facial treatment, there was a steam heat air that is directed at your face to help open the pores and feels really relaxing on your skin. It's like having a facial sauna.

It was a good facial treatment to have! Especially if you need to get those stubborn heads off those stubborn acne.

And after the treatment, you also have a choice to purchase a set of the products back home to use daily. The only thing different is there isn't anyone that can do it for you at home.
